'Struggle Creek'

This is the original oil painting that was intended to be used as the illustration for the book
Struggle Creek by Peculiar People.
It is an original painting by Vivian Zoller.

Here is a side by side of the original and my "translation" of it.
I tried to keep as much to her idea for the piece as possible.
The obvious changes are:
-the addition of the boy's Photo by Gerry Hanan,
-the changing of the giant shiny "something",
-the addition of the "extra" painting for the back.
-all the type-set for the cover.
